Quantum Creations is woman-owned and operated in Kansas City, MO. Since opening in 2006, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other people may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch.

These are one-of-a-kind creation by the artist. If it is sold, then it is only an example of might-be due to certain elements that call to your eye. BJ will be happy to answer your emails concerning what you feel, see, or desire.
We are aware that qualities of the stones in conjunction with other material will mean positive things and we embrace the knowledge.

Why BJ Started Beading:

Over 15 years ago the desire to be unique and not end up wearing the same piece as a thousand other women coupled with a need to find jewelry to match specific outfits (at reasonable prices), lead me into making my own jewelry. Friends and family would admire my artwork and then ask me to make them pieces. WahhhhhLaaaa! - a home business was born (or if you ask my hubby, an obsession). The world of beading is a wondrous thing! One that is filled with color, motion and exploration. I never seem to get tired of creating new pieces or finding new beads. It makes me happy when my customer admires the color/shape/style of a piece but the most rewarding for me is when they put it on and then most often they exclaim “This feels good!”

Why BJ Uses The Materials She Designs With:

The pieces I create (whether it be a necklace, earrings, sun-catcher, wind chime or anything else), are designed to enhance an individual’s personal energy. Early on I found that working with the natural materials just felt good: some energized me, some calmed me, some sharpened my thought process. All of them had their own kind of  ”pulse" as I handled them - I could actually feel this "energy signature". Being both intrigued and mystified by this, I started researching the metaphysical properties of the materials I was using to create my pieces. My beading supplies include such items as natural & synthetic stones, freshwater pearls, bone, horn, coral, shell, glass, crystal, and various metals. What I found moved me to go on to learn about the meanings of colors and some about shapes/symbols..
My desire is to help my customers appreciate the beauty, meaning, and power of God’s creation in whatever form it appears in.

Information Overload:

WOW, such a wealth of knowledge on the web - a good portion of it was kinda freaky which meant hours of sifting through multiple sites to gleam the kind of information I was looking for. You know, the kind of info that most people would understand or identify with but would not point to me being a total space cadet. Bits and pieces that entertain and inform.
The more I found out, the stronger my belief that all things are connected in a spiritual way became. I could not fully comprehend this connectivity intellectually but most definitely could physically feel it. Early on I noticed that imitation items did not "feel" the same as the natural or synthetic ones so I automatically steered away from using plastic, acrylics, and any beading material that was labeled as imitation. Later in my research I found a simple reason for the difference - imitation is just that, something that mimics the look of the original item but does not have the same chemical makeup while synthetic items are man-made but have the same chemical properties as the original.

BJ’s Spiritual Belief System:

Along with doing the research, I also had to come to terms with being able to "feel" the energy signature of the material I was working with. Some people told me that I was just imaging this "pulse" thing, others warned me not to play with the occult, and still others encouraged me to move into the pagan belief system. Though I listened carefully and knew each piece of advice was given with love, none of these really felt right for me.
My spiritual belief system is, simply put, that there is a God and that He created all things. God is not just an abstract concept for me. He is an active, constant part of my life and touches everything I do, think and say. I strongly believe that every one of His creations has a purpose along with God’s own energy within them, but the creation is not God, God is separate but still in all things. Everything is connected to everything else through God’s energy. Today’s man/woman may not be able to feel, see, hear or understand it BUT it is there just the same. Ultimately I believe that He gave me the gifts of an artistic creative nature, of discernment, and the ability to "feel" the materials I work with. He also expects me to use these gifts to not only strengthen my bond with Him but to help others connect with Him in their own way.
Sorry I have no way of providing you with physical proof of God's existence but I can point you to an area of science that might help you understand why I think the way I do. A branch of Quantum Physics called Noetics is exploring the nature of God. Look it up, read some of the research, then decide for yourself what to believe.

For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:
And He is before all things, and by Him all things are held together.

BJ’s Creative Process:

So with the belief in place that all things have a purpose (even if we do not see it, feel it or know what it may be), and have a connecting energy:  my artwork is designed to enhance the energy of the wearer/owner.
If I am designing just for the fun of it, I let the stones show me how to put them together. This results in some really beautiful pieces that wait for the just right person to claim them.
When I custom design a piece for a specific customer, we have a talk that includes the purpose of the item, what does the person need (more energy, less energy, calmness, alertness, good health, and so on), what colors do they like, type of piece required (necklace, bracelet, earrings, chimes, sun-catcher, etc.), what is happening in their life currently, and what is their goal along with many other aspects about them personally. This way they help me create pieces that work for their specific needs. I strive to enhance the owner's personal energy while providing a beautiful piece to compliment their event, fashion, and life style.
All my pieces come with a comprehensive sheet that describes the properties of the stones, colors, and shapes for the owner to reference. My custom pieces have a more personalized version of this properties sheet. Each creation and design is a unique, hand-made, one-of-a-kind piece of artwork. When you acquire your own set / wind chime, you know that no one else will have the exact same thing.
May my artwork bring you hours of enjoyment and beauty along with a new outlook on the unseen, and existing harmony of the world around you.
